Uh - Slight Glich In The Proceedings

Hi!

A little setback with some legal requirements but hopefully it won't drag us into too much trouble. Means we cannot exchange contracts today, but whatever the issues the boys WILL be in school on Monday. It may mean we don't get everythihg to Wales until Saturday but we will manage - I keep telling myself that.

The packing has gone really well and everything is downstairs now but we are at that point where I am washing things to pack, I have to pack some things into the caravan for when we get there and I just HATE the idea of having random things in random boxes.

I am a little OCD so it can be tricky for me at times but I just have to breath and know that all that matters is getting everything, and us, to the other end. Once the boys are in school on Monday I can spend the day getting properly organised so we have food, bedding/beds and the necessities where they should be for the time being.

Wish us luck, again.x

    1. Thanks Dawn. I am feeling a litle anxious but I think it will be ok. Nobody is pulling out, it isn't anywhere near THAT serious just prolonging the agony. Thanks for your wishes.x

  2. oh, the glitches! Well, it'll be sorted & then you can get on with things.

I remember when we moved, I was totally OCD with the boxes. Everything was numbered with a detailed corresponding list. When we moved in, all boxes were emptied and removed within days. I just couldn't bear the sight of them!

So again I wish you luck, and hope this is the one & only glitch x

    1. Thanks for all that, Sadie. I have labelled all the boxes with some basic and some specific contents, like school shoes!,and they will just be landed in the conservatory when we get there so I'll have room to find what I need. Due to the work being done I won't really be getting too many of my nice things out at first but really looking forward to when I can.x

  5. You'll be fine Louise. I had a similar situation when we moved out. We moved into a rental for 8 weeks (ok so more space than a caravan!) but we left everything packed up and just used what we needed. We had mattresses on the floor and only had a few emergency clothes. It was like camping. But we managed. You actually end up wondering why you have all these things that you never use!!! Good luck my dear xx

    1. Thank you, and since the other sale fell through all the kitchen was packed up and I have been using 4 plates, dishes, cups, one oven baking dish and a few other things for around 2 months! People should just realise we don'tneed all this stuff. Looking forward to just not being here and so being there! xx

  6. Hi Louise

Hoping that everything is going smoothly now and that your lack of posts indicate this. I have written to you at your old address, so I hope it will be forwarded to you soon. Helen xxx
